Perhaps the Nicest Thing You Can Do To Your Desktop Today (and it only takes 30 seconds)

Did you open up your computer to this?

Me, too.

The solution to a clean computer desktop is so super duper simple and has been staring at you since…forever!

Here’s my before:

And here’s my after:

And I didn’t even have to delete anything!

I use a folder called, “Underground Desktop”, to hide things in.

Out of sight = out of mind.

I move all my stuff into “Underground Desktop”.

It’s still all there on my hard drive and easily-accessible when I need it.

Sure, I could have deleted it and organized it and whatever.

But computers are natural organizers (ever hear of “command+spacebar” on Mac?). And hard-drive space is nearly infinite.

And most importantly, I didn’t have to think about whether or not I should delete something. (Your headspace is your most valuable space, no?)

At some later date, I will move that “Underground Desktop” folder to an external hard drive somewhere where I will forget about it forever and it will some day turn to dust.

This is easy. Super easy. No effort. Clean mind.

Takes a minute. Go do it.

And now you have a clutter-free desktop. Enjoy the view.

p.s. If you are interested in learning about how little things like this add up to big changes in your business/life/job, send me a time and number I can call you at next week.
