I got to thinking recently:

1. Just how fast can I make a legitimate site without sacrificing business objectives? 
2. How will that speed improvement impact organic SEO results?

I dove in deep and questioned all sorts of assumptions I was making.  The result is a 61 point improvement in Google’s Mobile Pagespeed Insights score on themightymo.com – read the article about my journey to a score of 97 here.  I haven’t drawn any conclusions yet about the SEO impact, as that takes more time to sort out.

This deep speed improvement work is neither simple nor easy – in fact, it involves deep conversations about content (what to keep, what to get rid of).  But if you see business value in speeding up the load times of your site, it might be worth a quick conversation.
